Team Pulse: messages, hype, polls, announcements

Team Pulse is the platform's communication hub — the practice streak, direct and group messages, quick polls, hype, and announcements all live here.

• Messages — direct messages and team group chat, all inside the platform. Nobody needs to share phone numbers.
• Hype — give a teammate or player a hype when they do something well; the whole team sees it. There is also a hype leaderboard.
• Quick Polls — ask the team one question and see answers as they come in.
• Announcements — go to everyone on the team, with reactions so you can see who has read them.

The Team Pulse tab itself shows the practice streak and who has checked in today, so a coach can spot a quiet player before it becomes a problem.

Coaches and Org Admins see and manage this for their teams; players and parents see their own team's Team Pulse (parents without their private messages — see [What parents can and cannot see](../parent/what-parents-can-see.md)).
